Many customers will be pleased that with twp lage gmbh they now have a partner certified according to ISO 14001:2004. Since February 2011 we have installed environmental management that complies with the stringent standards of the ISO norm. Environmental management is the term used for the management areas that take care of commercial and regulatory environmental requirements. The aim is to ensure that commercial products and processes as well as employee behaviour are compatible with environmental sustainability. Corresponding measures are taken to comply with all regulatory requirements and legal thresholds in order to minimise negative environmental influences and avoid environmental damage. For twp lage gmbh this entails:

• including environmental factors in the selection criteria for suppliers
• always taking care to develop material- and resource-saving products
• minimising waste disposal
• increasing the proportion of material that can be reused in the material cycle
• making stronger use of energy saving potentials
• increasingly judging processes in the light of their effect on the environment
• safer use and storage of dangerous materials
• regular checking that legal requirements and thresholds are being complied with
